Almost 40% of employers intend to increase the number of employees in 2023

Almost 30% of respondents planned salary indexation, and 4% of managers faced the need to reduce employee income, according to the results of a joint study of the Rabota.ru service and the automation service processing and selection of resumes Sberpodbor, reports TASS. .

In most cases, the heads of organizations in the agro-industrial and manufacturing sectors, as well as recruiters from IT and telecommunications companies, reported the recruitment of new specialists. The representatives of the construction industry spoke mainly of personnel reductions.

In 2023, some employers also intend to cut bonuses for their employees. Now only 71% of managers offer additional benefits to their employees.

The All-Russian Labor Research Institute believes that the presence of bonuses is one of the main factors when choosing an employer, especially with an equal salary. At the same time, under current conditions, employees often prefer to take a wait-and-see attitude and not change jobs, they added.

As the institute emphasizes, employers, if given financial opportunities, are more likely to increase wages and salaries, rather than expand the bonus system.
