MTS has optimized network fragments, reconfigured its parameters and increased transmission speed capacity on the six most popular highways from Moscow within the region.
The works cover all coverages of radio bands. Coverage for 2G, public voice, was 99.9%, and 4G for internet was 95%.
On which highways communication is improved:
• M-1 “Belarus” to Brest
• M-5 “Ural” to Chelyabinsk
• M-9 “Baltic” in the archive
• M-10 Rossiya to St. Petersburg via Tver and Novgorod
• A-130 via Maloyaroslavets to Bobruisk
• M-11 “Neva” in St. Petersburg
The average speed on all highways is 46 Mbps. The highest average speed 55 Mbps fixed on the highway M-1 “Belarus”.
Following in terms of average speed is the M-11 Neva highway to St. Petersburg at a speed of 53.4 Mbps. On the remaining four roads, the speed varies from 38 to 49 Mbps.
