Shopping center owners plan to develop their own clothing brands

The plans are still experimental in nature specifically to fill empty areas in shopping malls. The development of own brands will require large investments to open their own production, qualified employees, said Evgenia Khakberdiyeva, director of the department of retail real estate at NF Group.

Marina Malakhatko, head of CORE.XP’s retail department, added that shopping center owners often attract third-party brands and invest in developing stores of these brands on their premises.
