Telegram released the first update in 2023. Users expect 10 innovations: login with Apple and Google ID, translate channels and chats, auto-save media files, and 40% discount on an annual subscription.

Premium Telegram users will be able to translate entire chats and groups

Now any sticker and emoji can be turned into an animated avatar for a personal account, group or channel. You do not need a Premium subscription for this.

Users of a paid Premium subscription will be able to automatically translate chats, groups and entire channels from foreign languages into Russian. To do this, click the “Translate” button at the top of the screen.

Among the novelties, automatic saving of received media appeared: in the settings, you can select the types of chats, photos and videos that will be automatically saved to the device’s gallery, as well as set the size and type of saved files.

Group administrators will be able to allow or block chat members from sending photos, videos, voice messages, etc. There is also an option to completely disable texting in a group.

Users who have been signed out of their account can easily sign back in with their Apple or Google ID, without an SMS code. You will still be prompted for the password for 2-Step Verification if it has been set.

An annual Premium subscription with a 40% discount is available to users.
