And now, if a user tries to download Google Chrome using Edge Canary, they will encounter two ad banners at the same time.
The first, the smaller one, appears on the screen when the Chrome site loads. But the second, larger one, already pops out at the beginning of loading the Google browser. In it, Microsoft says Edge uses the same technology as Chrome.
To be fair, it’s worth noting that Google also advertises its Chrome browser, but only on the company’s websites. Their banners do not appear on competing sites and users are not forced to use Chrome or Google services.
