It turns out that a few sleep-related habits extend the lifespan of women by about 2.5 years and men by 4.7 years. It is reported by CNN.

As noted in a press release, the researchers analyzed data on more than 172,000 men and women. All participated in the National Health Survey from 2013 to 2018. 54% of all participants were women.

In total, five sleep-related factors were evaluated during the study. These are sleeping 7-8 hours every night, having trouble falling asleep at most two nights a week, restless sleep at most two nights a week, not taking sleeping pills, waking up rested at least five times a week. Those who added all these factors had the highest life expectancy.
