Financiers assume that by the end of the first quarter, the Russian ruble will strengthen to 72 rubles per US dollar. Until the end of this year, the US currency will remain at the level of 70 rubles.
In the long term, the strengthening of the ruble will be affected by the reduction of discounts on Russian oil, the increase in world prices for this energy resource and the introduced budget rule to increase the sale of foreign currency in the event of a reduction. in Russian oil and gas exports.
