TCS Group, the parent company of the Tinkoff group, which includes Tinkoff Bank, Tinkoff Insurance, a broker and others, has thought about changing the Cypriot jurisdiction (redomiciliation). This was reported by the newspaper “Vedomosti” with reference to the chairman of the board of directors of “Tinkoff Bank” Stanislav Bliznyuk.

The parent company “Tinkoff” plans to change the Cypriot jurisdiction

The publication’s interlocutor did not specify to which jurisdiction the group plans to switch Cyprus, noting only that the company “hopes to find a solution that will give one hundred percent success.”

Bliznyuk added that the group is not considering delisting TCS Group from the London Stock Exchange (LSE). At the beginning of March last year, the exchange suspended trading in the securities of a dozen Russian companies, TCS was no exception.

TCS receipts fell to $2.4, from $119 a year ago. After that, TCS allowed the possibility of transferring the main listing to Russia – the group’s papers are also traded on the Moscow Stock Exchange.

For almost a year since the start of the special operation, Tinkoff Bank managed to avoid blocking sanctions, unlike other private players on the systemically important list, but on February 25 the bank was included in the 10th sanctions package of the EU. On March 2, all of Tinkoff’s apps disappeared from the App Store.

In February, another Russian company announced its redomiciliation. VK planned to move from the British Virgin Islands to the Russian Federation. It was reported that the company may be registered in the SAR of the Kaliningrad region.
