In the online cinema “Kinopoisk” decided reminds of the work of the legendary Soviet and Russian punk-rock group “Korol i Shut”. On its Twitter account, the company invited subscribers to describe themselves with a line from a popular band composition.
Not only ordinary subscribers, but also the accounts of some Russian companies reacted to the idea of Kinopoisk.
For example, Qiwi described himself with a quote: “Tortured by the road, I’m exhausted” from the song “Forester.” The company also recalled the song “Two Thieves and a Coin”.
The national contraceptive manufacturer Vizit also participated in the unusual action. Company representatives also referred to the composition “Forester”, a quote that takes on a somewhat piquant meaning in the context of Vizit’s activities. Then, in the replays of the comment, the Yandex Go service appeared and offered to go to the “damned old house.”
Kinopoisk himself reminded subscribers about the Sausage track, and the company also described its manager SMM.
The Ozon marketplace also mentioned the SMM worker, noting that he hasn’t “dropped a coin” yet.
Some public organizations also decided to understand their activities through the prism of the work of The King and the Jester. For example, representatives of WWF Russia (World Wildlife Fund) recalled the quote “Shadows wander near the house of various fabulous animals.”
Other online movie theaters, the More.tv and Start services, also responded to Kinopoisk’s offer.
The King and the Shut group was founded in 1988 in St. Petersburg and during its existence has gained phenomenal popularity in the CIS countries, where it has been perceived as a cultural phenomenon.
