With its help, developers will be able to “mix” classical and quantum code to create new error correction protocols. Microsoft said cloud platforms are the only places where there is enough classical computing power to effectively control a quantum machine.
Microsoft said that with Integrated Hybrid, developers and researchers will be able to run the phase prediction algorithm, a key algorithm in the quantum computing toolbox.
Researchers will use Quantinuum hardware located in Azure to test and enable a classical computer to respond to data from a quantum machine.
