The Vitobox vitamin selection platform has launched sales in the United Arab Emirates, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, a company representative told RB.RU. During the first week of operation, the company made more than 1,000 sales, and Kazakhstan became the leader in terms of revenue.

Vitobox entered new markets using the Russian markets, for the CIS – Wildberries, for the United Arab Emirates – Yalla.Market (formally, the service is Dubai, it has Russian founders – ed.), the average growth in sales during the first week was 40%.

Vitobox’s international expansion is attributed to forecast growth of the global medtech market, which is expected to reach $504 billion by 2025, of which $16.6 billion will be in the personalized vitamin market.

“The next step we plan is to expand in Europe, starting from the Balkan countries, using existing connections with pharmaceutical distributors, then opening sales in Western Europe, as there is great interest from German and French strategists. It is worth noting separately that over time, international counterparties begin to do business with Russian companies again,” said Alexander Vuchenovich, CEO and co-founder of Vitobox.

The service plans to enter Europe with personalization according to the D2C model, directly through the website, as well as through the Amazon marketplace.

  • Vitobox is an AI selection platform for personalized vitamins. Leading physicians and scientists from Imperial College London, University of Zurich, IM Sechenov and Moscow State University. The selection accuracy is 93.2%. According to its own data, the number of users of the service exceeds 250 thousand people.
  • At the beginning of February 2023, Vitobox became the owner of a 30% stake in the nanoemulsion beverage company Goatea. The companies plan to co-brand products and jointly expand the distribution market.
