According to a new report from Canalys, Google ranked second in the global wearables market in the fourth quarter of 2022 with an 8 percent share. These devices include smartwatches, regular watches, and basic straps.

Apple has 27.5% and Samsung has 5.9% market share. The South Korean company dropped to fifth place.

Canalys also mentions that 16% of Google’s growth was achieved with the launch of the Pixel Watch. It’s worth noting that Google also owns product lines like Fitbit Sense, Versa, and Inspire. Overall, the company’s shipments fell during the year due to weak Fitbit sales.
