Tires, cameras, light industry products, perfumes, fur coats, shoes and other product categories are within the scope of mandatory labeling in Russia. And if the seller does not register with the labeling system or place a special identification code that confirms the labeling of the goods, the online platforms will learn about this automatically – all stores will have access to the Black List.

The authors of the initiative and its developments believe that this will help increase the share of legal trade and conscientious sellers and improve the fight against sellers of counterfeit and other illegal goods. At the same time, prices should not increase.

It was reported that the project was discussed with online stores and tested with Yandex.Market. However, the last word belongs to the Internet Commerce Companies Association.
