Apple Music Classic is now available on iOS; explore the app and catalog

Streaming app dedicated to classical music, Apple Music Classic is now on the App Store. Part of the Apple Music and Apple One subscription, the platform offers more than 5 million classical music tracks.

Users can check out masterpieces by famous classical composers, including exclusive albums, and new releases with high-quality sound. For even more immersion, the service has a spatial audio option with Dolby Atmos.

Apple Music Classical is based on Primephonic, a classical music streaming service acquired by Apple in 2021. Therefore, the platform offers various features similar to other apps of the genre.

For example, listeners will find hundreds of playlists created by expert curators. In addition to a detailed artist bio, you can search for materials by composer, work, conductor, catalog number, and more.

facilitating use, Apple Music Classical available in Brazilian Portuguese, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch. The app is currently not yet available in China, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Taiwan, and Turkey.

Coming soon on Android

Apple Music Classical is supported on iPhone models running iOS 15.4 or later. In addition to listening to the tracks on the smartphone, users can also play the works on other devices with a wireless connection using AirPlay.

For more, Apple is working on the Android version of its classical music app. However, there is no set date yet for the release of the platform to the operating system.
