By 2022, Russian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)’s IT costs have tripled, a survey by Russian Programs has shown. If in 2021 businessmen spent from 300 to 500 thousand rubles a year, then last year the amount decreased by less than 100 thousand rubles a year.

SME spending on IT services halved: survey

Basically, entrepreneurs pay for mail services, cloud storage, banking systems, and various publishers. 64% of respondents spend less than 100 thousand rubles on these services. Another 24% of survey participants estimated their IT expenses to be between 100,000 and 300,000 rubles per year. And only 2% of respondents are ready to pay more than 500 thousand rubles for such services.

Entrepreneurs named Google, Yandex and Mail as the most used mail services, among banking systems – Planfix, Adesk, Fintablo, Seeneco, among office editors – WPS Office, P7-Office, Zoho Office and storage on the The most popular cloud turned out to be Yandex.Disk, Google Drive and Nextcloud.

Entrepreneurs who spend more than 100 thousand rubles on IT services, as a rule, direct funds to security systems, cloud storage and program settings. These services have not changed. But the business began to spend no more than 50 thousand rubles on CRM and office editors.

600 heads of Russian companies from the segment of small and medium-sized enterprises took part in the Russian Programs survey.
