Foreign applications began to appear on RuStore, one of the first was the social network with short videos Likee. RuStore opened access for foreign developers in February.
Ilya Ulyanov, director of the company for work with partners, announced the appearance of foreign applications on RuStore. One of the first applications of non-Russian developers on RuStore was a social network with short vertical videos Likee.
According to Ulyanov, many more applications from foreign developers will appear on RuStore in the near future. In total, more than 4,000 publishers cooperate with the app store, Ulyanov added.
The open beta test of the RuStore app store was launched in May 2022. The tests were completed in February 2023, however, RuStore opened access to the store for foreign developers.
In March this year, RuStore’s share of the app store market was 2-3%, according to mobile operators.
