Russian hosting provider RuVDS has opened two data centers in Kazakhstan and started providing shared hosting services. This was reported to RB.RU by a company representative.
The services are provided on the basis of commercial data processing centers (DPCs) of Transtelecom JSC (Kazakhstan), in which RuVDS has placed its own server equipment. Data centers are located in Alma-Ata and Astana.
In total, the hosting provider plans to invest 50 million rubles in the purchase of its own server equipment for the project. Investment volumes may increase subject to increased demand.
“Renting a virtual server in Kazakhstan will significantly reduce the response and download time for the end user located in the Central Asian region,” said Nikita Tsaplin, founder and CEO of RuVDS.
It will be possible to pay for accommodation with the help of plastic cards issued in Kazakhstan and other countries.
- RuVDS is one of the leading Russian VPS / VDS server hosting providers, the main direction of work is the provision of business-class IaaS services. The company has a data center in Korolev, as well as six containment zones (two in Moscow, one each in Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk).
- According to the company’s own data, RuVDS partners include such companies as VK, Gett, BCS, Mosbirzha and others.
