The mayor of the capital visited the plant and said that the Yandex.Taxi service received the first 50 Moskvich 3 cars. In mid-February it became known that the fleet of taxis and car-sharing of the Russian company will be replenished with new cars .

“We have reached agreements with Yandex.Taxi for the supply of 5,000 crossovers, of which 2,000 are with an electric motor,” Sergei Sobyanin said in a Telegram message.

It is also noted that Moskvich will be the main provider of taxis and carsharing in Russia.

The mayor of Moscow announced the beginning of the “Moskvich revival.” According to him, together with PJSC KAMAZ, an appropriate plan has been developed, which is planned to be implemented in six years. So, the manufacturer intends to start assembling the Moskvich 3e electric car from Russian components.

In addition, the plant for the first time showed a new model – the Moskvich 6 sedan. Sobyanin called the car bright and dynamic, noting the well-thought-out ergonomics. It should be noted that the production and launch of the car is scheduled for the second half of 2023.

“Muscovites” are assembled at the former Renault plant in Moscow. The automaker’s assets in Russia were transferred to state ownership, and the enterprise with its capabilities was handed over to the capital’s administration.
