Andrey Krivenko, founder of the VkusVill network, and Denis Shtengelov, founder of the Yashkino brand (KDV Group and Yarche!) were included in the American Forbes list.
The compilers of the ranking of the richest people on the planet estimated Krivenko’s fortune at $2.1 billion, and Shtengelov’s fortune at $1.3 billion.
This year, Andrey Melnichenko, the main beneficiary of EuroChem and SUEK, pushed Vladimir Lisin, chairman of the NLMK board of directors, from the first place. Melnichenko topped the list for the first time, Forbes estimates his fortune at $25.2 billion.
At the same time, data from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI) shows that since the beginning of 2023, the businessman’s fortune has decreased by $571 million.
The second place in the rating was taken by Vladimir Potanin (Interros, Norilsk Nickel). According to Forbes, his fortune reaches 23.7 billion dollars. Lisin, in turn, has moved to third position from $22.1 billion.
The fourth place in the list of Russian billionaires was taken by Leonid Mikhelson, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC NOVATEK. In the fifth line was the CEO of “Severgroup” Alexei Mordashov, together with his family ($ 20.9 billion).
The top 10 also included Lukoil founder Vagit Alekperov with $20.5 billion. According to BBI, since the beginning of 2023, his fortune has grown by $3 billion. Additionally, the list includes Novatek and Sibur shareholder Gennady Timchenko ($18.5 billion) and Alfa Group founder Mikhail Fridman ($12.6 billion).
Forbes also included Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, on the list, estimating his fortune at $11.5 billion. Earlier, Durov asked the publication not to call him a Russian businessman.
