Russian developers are not afraid of Chinese competitors, the latter “traditionally are strong in hardware, but in software the prospects are weaker due to the lack of the necessary certificates and communication barriers with clients,” Rustem Khairetdinov, deputy general manager of Garda Technology, explained.
FSTEC is responsible for the certification of cybersecurity solutions. Without product approval in the department, it cannot be used by government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and CII entities.
