Key Alves, former Big Brother Brasil (BBB) contributor, service that allegedly pays users to like posts on Instagram. The scheme is another scam in the best Meu Velho Rico style, besides being considered illegal by the social network.

“Guys, I have an app that only pays you to click on social networks. Do you believe it?”, impressively says in a story published this Thursday (06). In other videos, the young woman has a Balance claimed to be available on app 928.21 BRL.

The screenshot shows the software allegedly named “Insta Money” used by Key for “14 days, 12 hours and 8 minutes”. “Now I will step back and my Pix key is already registered. Guys, it’s really easy money,” says the celebrity.

As with other scams, Insta Money sells itself on trigger conversations and reports that only 50 places are available.

Accessing the app is charged R$97 as a “great promotion”since the original value is R$3k as stated on the plan’s website.

The Insta Money page has a video that you must watch to access the service. There is registration other celebrities like funk singer MC Daniel.

The former BBB’s promotion of a system that was clearly a hoax went viral on social media, with many criticizing his stance. Many people remembered that the video he showed left clear signs that everything was about something illegal.

One of the most striking aspects of the users is the screen. Key’s phone displays an iOS-style notification. This would not be strange if the artist’s smartphone was not an Android.

Another strange issue is Insta Money as Key Alves shows is not exactly an app, it’s a page that opens in a browser. When copying the site’s URL, a message is displayed stating the exact same earnings that the old BBB claimed to have.

Apart from celebrity involvement, Insta Money has all the other features of scams like “Meu Velho Rico”. The structure of the two pages is very similar to each other, and it is even possible for those who benefit from the system to misinterpret.
