Sovcombank shared the results of an experiment with the introduction of a four-day working week, which began in early 2022. 97% of managers reported an increase in staff efficiency, RKB reports with reference to the bank’s press service. .
The credit institution was the first among banks to decide to move employees to a four-day work week in January last year. The experiment was carried out in a co-working space at a hotel in Turkey and was reported to affect less than 5% of employees.
Subsequently, joint work for employees of all Sovcombank subsidiaries was organized in Sochi.
Based on the results of the experiment, the bank conducted a survey among the heads of the business areas: 97% of the respondents agreed that the new regime had a positive impact on employee productivity and their involvement at work. .
During the work week in the coworking space, 76% of the employees fully complied with their tasks, and 20% exceeded the labor norm. Only 4% of the participants in the experiment could not cope with the set tasks.
Having studied the results, Sovcombank decided to continue the experiment and triple the number of employees who will visit the coworking space by 2023. Thus, 15% of the group’s employees will participate in the experiment.
