Alibaba Group introduced its own competitor to the ChatGPT neural network, the Tongyi Qianwen language model. It will be integrated into the work of the company’s divisions.
The novelty was introduced by the cloud provider Alibaba Cloud. The Tongyi Qianwen language model is designed to enhance the user experience.
In the first stage, Tongyi Qianwen will join the operations of Alibaba Cloud divisions through the collaboration platform DingTalk, as well as Alibaba’s Tmall Genie voice assistant. The AI model will help with ordinary tasks, for example writing an email or meeting summary.
Starting April 14, Alibaba Cloud customers will have access to Tongyi Qianwen to create features. They will be able to create custom language models that form the basis of Tongyi Qianwen’s work.
