Adobe announced a few winning news Thursday (13) for video editing products like Premiere Pro. artificial intelligence (AI) based tools. After Effects and the Frame.io cloud collaboration platform will also receive significant updates.
Starting with the famous professional video editor, the program is now a new option Text-based editing using Adobe Sensei technology to automatically analyze and transcribe clips. AI does the job, providing searchable transcripts, making it faster to edit by brand.
The software will also feature automatic tone mapping and color detection, making it possible to combine HDR images from different sources. This feature eliminates the need for manual adjustments to get a neater look for the project.
In Adobe Premiere Pro though, the company included tools to prevent editing in certain parts of a video, placing them only as previews, performing offline edits, and status indicators showing which professionals are involved in that project. Also new is GPU acceleration for select formats, including Sony Venice V2.
After Effects and Frame.io
There are improvements in After Effects such as a new properties panel for quick access to animation settings, updated keyboard shortcuts, multi-frame shape rendering, and more. The promise is improved performance with changes.
Frame.io gets PDF support, making it possible to share and review documents and photos, with JPEG, RAW and HEIF files exported directly to the cloud. Security improvements have also been implemented and It will be available in May along with all other news announced by Adobe..
