The Swedish Space Center launched an experimental rocket from the Esrange launch site. The purpose of the launch was to investigate microgravity on her steering wheel. The launch was successful, the rocket reached an estimated altitude of 250 km. The second stage of the flight was to be her return to the starting point. But something went wrong and the rocket landed in a completely different place – namely, in a neighboring country.

Simply put, the rocket fell in Norway! This event caused a real sensation, although peace and good neighborly relations have long been established between the two Scandinavian countries. Raaketa deviated 40 km northwest of the calculated landing path and fell in the northern region of Norway called Malselv. The Swedish Science Center connected to the surfaces of both sides of the border and its appeal was heard.

The Norwegian authorities provided support to the space center, but were appointed by the fact that from the side of Sweden And this was not officially recognized as an opportunity for Swedish racketeering on its territory. The Swedes coordinated with their neighbors the departure of a helicopter, on which the fragments of the rocket and its carrying capacity were delivered to Esrange for studying.
