“Rostec” withdrew from the shareholders of “AvtoVAZ”. The state corporation transferred its stake (32.3%) in the controlling joint venture Lada Auto Holding to the Federal Automotive and Scientific Research Institute of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise (NAMI) subordinate to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Rostec ceased to be a shareholder of AvtoVAZ

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, on May 5, 2023, NAMI became the sole owner of Lada Auto Holding.

Until the end of 2021, AvtoVAZ was controlled through the Dutch JV Alliance Rotec Auto BV, which was owned by Rostec (32.3%) and the French automaker Renault (67.7%).

Then the controlling joint venture was transferred to Russian jurisdiction, the owner of the company became Lada Auto Holding LLC, the distribution of shares remained the same.

In the spring of 2022, the Russian assets of the Renault group became state property, and the French company’s share in AvtoVAZ became the property of FSUE NAMI.
