Oleg Gulko, psychotherapist of the Karpovka+ Research and Clinical Center, told Gazeta.Ru that viewing pornographic material in adolescence can lead to erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and problems reaching orgasm.
The sexologist emphasizes that at this age, porn serves as a resource for future behavior and preferences in sexual activity. The expert believes that such films, which are mostly staged, create distorted ideas about both sexes as sexuality. In most videos, sexual preferences are also distorted, as the duration of sexual intercourse is much longer than the natural duration. The expert believes that as a result, choices that cannot be made in life in the future are formed.
According to the doctor, one way to counter the negative effects of pornography could be extensive sex education.
