NewsGuard, a company specializing in online data source discovery, found 49 new ones in search. Today, the content of these pages is 100% neurologically generated. The Amazon online store is growing in the number of books on any subject that have high ratings and are written by hitherto unknown authors. This is also an AI creation that has an extremely dubious carrier, but this fact does not bother the owners of sites that are found on neural networks.
According to Josh Jaffe, head of the San Francisco-based Ingenio Internet publication, they are “doing a favor” to people, citing the help of neural networks of content that in the case “would never have appeared.” But in general he refuses to answer the question, is this content really needed? More and more websites targeted at a general audience began to involve AI services for the production and consumption of resources – it brings traffic, but annoys users.
The problem is not that AI puts creative people out of work, but that it appropriates other people’s ideas with machine impartiality and builds a new accumulation set on their basis. I don’t understand this idea, but it will change soon if it is used so that it is not inappropriate or wrong and eventually breeds misinformation. And already other AIs pick up the revealed information, revealed on their basis of even more false content. Unfortunately, at the moment the mechanism for regulating this mechanism is not exists.
