A charity exhibition featuring images generated by the Kandinsky 2.1 neural network was organized as part of the “Time of Transformation: Real Solutions for the Agro-Industrial Complex” conference. The bank’s press service said that the funds raised – more than two million rubles – were transferred to partner charities.
The Kandinsky 2.1 neural network was developed by researchers from the Sber AI and AIRI Institute for Artificial Intelligence. Artificial intelligence trained on a dataset from Sber AI and SberDevices can generate an image from a text description in a matter of seconds. The neural network understands 101 languages, can draw in various styles and has many tricks: it mixes several drawings, replaces them, draws missing parts of the picture and creates images in endless canvas mode.
Each of the 11 portraits drawn by Kandinsky 2.1 combines an image of the future and an element of one of the sectors of the agro-industrial complex, where the owners and top managers of their companies met at the conference. The owners of the paintings were donors as part of the #GivingDobro campaign.
