Russian banks received about 1 million payment stickers in the first quarter, as reported by Smart Ranking.

The market was divided between Tinkoff Bank, Sberbank and Alfa-Bank. The height of the first pot is half the market. The cost of issuing stickers for a debit card is 700 rubles, and for a credit card with Premium and Private services – free of charge. About 7-8 thousand stickers are issued daily, by the beginning of April more than 600 thousand pieces were distributed.

15% of the market is occupied by Alfa-Bank, it has already received over 150,000 payment stickers. It is issued free of charge, the service costs 49 rubles per month, but for premium customers or for a fee of 10 thousand rubles per month – free of charge.

Sberbank has distributed more than 100,000 stickers since February 2023.

Finally, VTB launched a pilot project in May. Ordinary customers purchase stickers for 590 rubles, while premium customers get them for free. [Ведомости]
