The long-awaited new product from Huawei in 2024 – Huawei P70has an ace up its sleeve that could significantly improve its performance compared to its competitors – the new chipset it will use.
According to the source, it has been tentatively named “Kirin 9010”. Smart Pikachu on Weibo. The chip has not yet been officially announced, but work on it has been going on for a long time.
This will be a 3nm node from TSMC, or “N3” as the company calls it, and it’s pretty impressive. This will increase transistor density by 70%, which is important since modern chipsets already have more than 10 billion transistors.
On top of that, Huawei is bringing back 5G connectivity with the P70 series. Interestingly, the P70 Art ultra-wide-angle camera is rumored to have a 1-inch sensor and a high-quality 1G6P lens (with one glass and six plastic elements).
The Huawei P70 is said to come with a 5P lens and a 1/3.6″ telephoto lens, while the P70 Pro duo will have a 6P zoom lens with a 1/2.5″ sensor behind it.
