None of the aforementioned launches have been confirmed. Rumors have been circulating for several months that the iPad Pro and iPad Air series will be renewed. Meanwhile, iPad and iPad Mini also seem to be remote possibilities for updates.
Apple’s event announcements should focus on hardware presentation, as the company has confirmed its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 10. It is also worth noting that Let Loose will start at 11:00 Brazilian time and can be watched on Apple’s YouTube channel or the TecMundo channel, where it will be broadcast live with simultaneous translation.
Which products should be announced at the Apple event?
New iPad Pro
The latest iPad Pro models were released in 2022 and are equipped with the Apple M2 chip. It was believed that Apple’s new tablet models will come with the M3 chip, but some analysts have begun to assume the possibility of launching with the M4 processor due to the focus on artificial intelligence (AI) resources.
iPad Pro is available in 11 and 12.9 inch versions. The latter may be slightly larger and have a 13-inch display. Another rumor is that both models have OLED panel displays and are therefore thinner than the current models.
The position of the camera when used horizontally with the keyboard should also be changed to better suit the device.
New iPad Air
The iPad Air should launch with the Apple M2 chip. In addition to the 11-inch version, a 12.9-inch version is also expected to be announced. In this way, it will be possible to offer a larger but cheaper model than the Pro line version of the series. The iPad Air’s camera also needs to be repositioned.
New Magic Keyboard
Magic Keyboard has not been updated since 2020. There is a possibility that Apple will introduce a new version of the keyboard for its tablets. Since the current model is made of plastic, the accessory, which will have an aluminum frame this time, was criticized for not matching premium iPad models.
New Apple Pencil
The new Apple Pencil will come with various improvements. There are no details about the new features yet, but the accessory is expected to have haptic feedback, new pressure sensing feature and be compatible with the “Find My” feature.
Additionally, the new Apple Pencil may come with different interchangeable nibs to offer different types of writing.
