OneUI 5.0, Samsung’s next level of customization that runs Android 13 was announced in early October with several news related primarily to customization and security. It is now possible to completely redesign the lock screen in a clean iOS 16 style, or prevent us from sharing personal information with a feature that detects and notifies us if personal information appears on an image. But, When will this and other news arrive on the company’s smartphones?
For now, One UI 5 is available for some select models. Among them are those that belong to the Galaxy S22 series. Update, however will be rolled out in the coming months for more modelsincluding some mid to entry level models and of course their foldables.
As usual, Samsung will first update models announced during 2022 and continue with models introduced during 2021. This is the complete list, sorted by update month.
Samsung phones that can now update to One UI 5 and Android 13
Samsung, repeat Officially began rolling out One UI 5 on Galaxy S22 series devices. More precisely, three models.
- Samsung galaxy s22.
- Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus.
- Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The update is coming in stages. That is, if you have one of these models, it will probably take a few days for delivery. You can check availability at Settings > System Information > Software Update.
Which phones will be updated in November?

Finally, in February 2023Samsung will update the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro to One UI 5 and Android 13. It is also likely that other smartphones that are not listed will also receive the new version later, but this has not yet been confirmed by Samsung.
