You can now find accessories using sounds on your Mac through the Find My app

macOS Ventura 13.1 beta brings this useful enhancement to the Search app.

macOS Ventura has arrived on compatible Mac devices with numerous new features such as the Visual Organizer, Continuity camera, Spotlight improvements or the Freeform app.

In addition, as Apple releases new beta versions, other equally interesting news is emerging, such as the function that we will talk about next. 9to5mac reports that finding accessories with AirTag is available on Mac for the first time. Beta version of macOS Ventura 13.1.

This is an enhancement to the Search app in macOS Ventura. While new to Mac users, it’s not new to iOS, iPadOS or watchOS as it was previously available on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

Note, however, that this innovation is currently only available in the beta version of macOS Ventura 13.1.

AirTags have become quite popular. should have for many Apple users. They are so useful that they even helped arrest car thieves in New Hampshire, USA. But this new functionality in macOS Ventura 13.1 is not only available in AirTags, other third-party accessories are also compatible with Apple’s Find My network and play audio when you try to find it.
