Well, I finally got my wish… Something like that. If you’re a Google One subscriber, you now have access to the Magic Eraser tool in the Google Photos app on both Android and iOS. An active Google One membership is required, starting at $2/month for 100GB and going up to $25/month for 5TB.

While one of the main reasons to buy a Pixel device is gone, that’s not all that has been revealed. Google One subscribers are also getting a new HDR video effect for all Android and iOS devices that will improve video brightness and contrast.

Finally, some exclusive new collage styles are available for Google One members on Android and iOS, and you can apply a style to an individual photo in the collage editor. If you have an older Pixel (5a and earlier), these features will be available without a Google One subscription.
