Corsair has introduced its first gaming and streaming laptop with the Voyager a1600. This model is AMD Advantage certified, which means, among other things, that both the processor and GPU are supplied by Team red. The manufacturer wants to differentiate itself with a blood-speed 240Hz 16-inch wqxga display (2,560 x 1,600) followed by a dozen Elgato hotkeys.

There are two different SKUs that differ in processor, ram and storage. The standard variant comes with the Ryzen 7 6800HS (8c/16t), 32GB DDR5 memory and 1TB SSD with PCIe 4.0. In addition, Corsair offers a higher clocked Ryzen 9 6900HS, as well as a more powerful version with 64GB of ram and 2TB of storage. Both models are combined with the Radeon RX 6800M.

In addition to a Cherry MX Ultra Low keyed RGB keyboard, the laptop is equipped with ten hotkeys that can be operated via the Elgato Stream Deck software. Connectivity consists of two USB4 type-c ports with Thunderbolt 3 as well as a single USB 3.2 type-a and type connector. In addition to the SDXC card slot, there is also a 3.5mm audio connection. Other features include a 1080p webcam, two 20mm speakers with Dolby Atmos, and four noise canceling microphones.

The Corsair Voyager a1600 comes standard with Windows 11 Home, but you can also choose Windows 11 Pro. The recommended retail price of the base version will be $2,700, while its older brother will change hands at $3,000. It is not yet known when the notebook will go on sale.
