The Los Angeles Auto Show, one of the most prestigious in the industry, is starting to bring us the latest news on electric mobility. Clearmanufacturer of fully electrified cars and one of Tesla’s main competitors, introduced Gravity, an SUV that aims to gain ground among luxury brands. But besides its design bonus and high quality materials, its technical characteristics are also promising.
The presentation of Lucid Gravity is a big step for the Californian company, since its second model after the successful Lucid Air. However, to expand the market, this time they chose a completely different segment of cars – SUVs. As you probably know, it is one of the most popular all over the world, especially among those who have families.
Lucid Gravity is a large SUV. 500 cm long, 200 wide, 165 high.. The distance from the body to the ground on its side is 15 centimeters. Its total cargo volume is 3117 liters..
Inside it offers space for up to 7 passengers. The manufacturer claims that everyone can travel in comfort, even those sitting in the third row, and thanks to the images we have no doubt that this is the case. This is a fairly spacious car.
We might think that its size would hurt its agility, but that’s not the case. The Lucid platform has allowed us to achieve a technical breakthrough in this sense. “At Lucid, we believe in pushing the boundaries of design. We build on that belief to maximize space, aerodynamic efficiency and utility, resulting in an electric SUV with a combination of qualities never seen before,” he says. adds:
“Whether it’s a load-bearing SUV for family trips or long trips that cover hundreds of miles between stops, Gravity is designed to be versatile. A stunning car that is incredibly versatile and delivers an unforgettable driving experience.”

The Lucid Gravity interior embodies minimalism, luxury and technology. First of all, the huge 34 curved OLED panel inches above the steering wheel, reaching to the middle of the dashboard. The picture shows a fully digital instrument panel, but there is also space on the right side for the infotainment system for the co-pilot to interact with.
Below this panel in the central area there is a second screen measuring up to 22 inches, also for controlling Lucid Air. The steering wheel, in turn, is located in a lower position than we are used to.. This is done in order to be able to view the dashboard unobstructed.

Let’s now move on to the specifications presented so far. I emphasize “yet” because many key characteristics remain to be learned. For now, we know that the Lucid Gravity has a built-in battery with a capacity similar to that of the Lucir Air. That is, from 113 kWh. Thus, autonomy can go beyond 700 kilometers. Of course it will be compatible with the standard. fast chargingwhich will allow you to recharge in just 15 minutes to travel about 320 kilometers.
If everything goes according to plan, Lucid Gravity will be available late 2024. His price? There is no specific information yet, but the company says that will start below $80,000.
