Surprise, Microsoft is about to launch its first Surface gaming laptop. The line – now exclusively associated with productivity and study – will soon be enriched with a new product for gamers, thanks to a (probably) strong integration with the Xbox and Game Pass ecosystem.

To preview the news is the MyLaptopGuide portal, which also lists the alleged technical data sheet of the new laptop. It will in fact be the first product of the new line gaming of the Surface family of devices.

Initially, there should be at least two versions available: one with Intel Core i5-12500H CPU and a second with Intel Core i7-12700H. The entry-level Surface Gaming Laptop will be equipped with a GPU NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti with 4 GB GDDR6 VRAM, while the i7 model has a graphics card RTX 3070 Ti 8GB. You can choose from a wide range of different SSDs: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB.

The laptop then has a 16-inch PixelSense screen with a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz and resolution 2560 × 1440 pixels. At this point we don’t know RAM yet, while we do know for sure that it will have three USB-C ports, a 3.5mm audio jack and a Surface connector. It goes without saying that it will be available with the Windows 11 operating system from launch. Prices are not yet known. We can’t wait for the official announcement to tell you more details.
