Over there cryptocurrency Solana will soon have its reference smartphone. Is called Solana Saga and is a phone of Solana Mobiles, a subsidiary of OSOM. In these hours, the technical specifications of the smartphone were released.

The datasheet is interesting: the Solana Saga is a top-spec smartphone that additionally includes some features designed natively for crypto enthusiasts and investors.

The Solana Saga has a stainless steel bezel, while the shell is ceramic. Thanks to seed vaultthe phone hosts the private keys of the user’s cryptocurrency wallets. The fingerprint sensor mounted on the back of the phone allows the user to authorize transactions on the Solana network using their biometrics.

The screen is a 6.67-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Under the body we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which is the same chipset equipped on the main top of the Android range of the moment. The Soc is flanked by 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of storage. Thanks to the SD card slot, it is possible to expand the memory by a further 512 GB.

The main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX766 and we also find a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera from Sony. The 16MP selfie camera has an aperture of f/2.4.

Already at its debut, the Solana Saga will be available with Android 13, the latest version of the Google operating system. The 4110 mAh battery and support for wireless charging complete this picture.

The Solana Saga can be pre-booked by making a non-binding $100 deposit. It will cost $1,000 at launch.
