AVM has released a new version of FRITZ! Lab beta firmware (version 7.39) released. Among other things, the update brings an IP blocking list for incoming packets and support for WireGuard VPN connections to FRITZ!OS.

In addition, FRITZ!Box and FRITZ!Repeater devices can now be connected simultaneously in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi frequency bands in “Mesh Repeater” mode. Previously it was possible to use only one of the two belts.

FRITZ!OS beta versions are available for various FRITZ!Box models and the FRITZ!Repeater 2400. Installation, FRITZ! Download labs and install via the FRITZ!Box interface. Restoring the normal FRITZ!OS version can be done via a recovery program (on Windows).
