Adobe has added a host of new features powered by generative artificial intelligence (AI) to its editing programs, including three new Adobe Firefly models and more than a hundred new features for Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Adobe Express in Adobe Creative Cloud.
At the Adobe MAX event, the software company introduced three new Firefly models. Known as the Adobe Firefly Image 2 Model, Adobe Firefly Vector Model, and Adobe Firefly Design Model, these models are designed to create secure content for commercial use.
These helpers can be used to create images, vector graphics, and template designs respectively. This will make the job much easier than before.

An important feature of the content generated by these models is that it automatically includes a credential. a digital label indicating that they were created by an artificial intelligence.
This credential provides information about the creator, date of creation, edits made and tools used, thus guaranteeing transparency regarding authorship.
Following the success of the high-adoption ‘Generative Fill’ feature in Photoshop, Adobe has launched over a hundred new AI features and updates across its flagship Creative Cloud apps. These include: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Stock.
Adobe also announced that Photoshop is now generally available on the web. ‘Generative Filling’ and ‘Generative Scaling’ powered by Firefly. These features are now available on Google Chromebook Plus devices.

Express users can now use the ‘Generative Fill’ feature to add, delete or replace objects and the people in the pictures use only one description.
New generative AI features like ‘Text to Template’, based on Firefly’s Design Model, make design creation easier, while the ‘Translate’ function saves time when translating and adapting content in 45 different languages.
