Threads now has almost 100 million monthly active users and has introduced two new features to continue its growth: polls and GIFs. While these features are common on other social platforms, Threads opted for careful implementation.

Threads, the microblogging social network created by Meta, the company behind Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, has taken the social media world by storm since its launch. July 6, 2023.
Developed by the Instagram team, Threads is presented as a hybrid of Twitter and Mastodon and promises to combine the best of both platforms and be a part of Fediverso.
The peculiarity of this application lies in its close relationship with Instagram. Unlike other independent social networks If you already have an Instagram account, Threads does not require additional registrationbecause you can link your existing account directly.
The launch of Threads was an instant success, and the platform attracted thousands of people. 10 million users in just seven hours. This success is partly attributed to the declining popularity of Twitter and the strong user base of Instagram, which has more than a billion followers. Users can now create surveys with up to four different options and define a deadline for completion. The feature is that participants must vote to see partial results. However, the web version does not yet support creating and voting polls; These features are only available on mobile apps.
