These words belong to former ICT Minister Karen Abudinen from Barranquilla. Years later, he broke his silence to make statements regarding the controversial case of losing 70 billion pesos on a contract with the Centro Poblados company.
Abudinen published a video on his X account with the book he wrote: ‘Where is the 70 billion pesos? My truth about the Centros Poblados scandal, here he gives his own version of the thorny case.

The book was published under the following signature: There is a foreword by Intermedios Editores and journalist Oscar Montes.
It should be noted that Abudinen was affected by the alleged irregularities in the million-dollar connection contract that Mintic agreed with Unión Temporal Centros Poblados, which aimed to bring internet to more than 7,000 schools in rural areas of the country.
The scandal broke out when a plot to seize these resources through fake bank guarantees was revealed.
The bank managed to advance 70 billion pesos out of 1.2 trillion pesos; this was money requested by the contractor Unión Temporal Centro Poblados, whose representative is now in prison.
The details of this process are described by the former minister in this book, a scandal that cost him his job and caused many personal problems.
