McAfee’s research revealed that the first infected apps have been available on the official Google store since 2020.. There are 13, three of which have been installed over 100,000 timesBrazil, Argentina, United Kingdom, United States, Mexico and Colombia.
Google Play has already removed apps from its catalogue, but not from the devices of the people who downloaded them (338,300 people, according to figures collected by McAfee). So this is very important: If you have any of the applications, delete them from your mobile phone immediately.
