Kevin Smith recently reviewed the period of the possible release of the trailer from clerks 3 After the director talked about March or April as the ideal time to release the film last year, Kevin Smith has now said the goal is to show the trailer for Clerks 3 at San Comic-Con Diego in July.

The folks at Lionsgate showed me an approved first pass of the Clerks 3 trailer, and I loved it! Assembling trailers is an art form in itself, and the artists behind this kind of work have every respect. I hope to be able to share the trailer at my panel in Hall H at Comic-Con.
Kevin Smith describes the potential trailer and previously revealed:
When the trailer is made, I think they’ll show some scenes where Dante and Randall try to shoot Clerks, even if they call it The Inconvenience. But it’s something we’re all familiar with, and that’s in black and white.
The story of Clerks 3 is based on a situation in which Kevin Smith was involved, with Rendall who, after surviving a heart attack, will call his best friend to make a film about his life path, starting at the supermarket where he has worked .
