On the occasion of the Geeked Week the streaming platform Netflix released the teaser trailer for Cabinet of Curiositiesthe anthological series created by the master Guillermo Del Toro Episodes of the show will be available later this year.

The description of the project speaks of “a macabre horror-themed mix, with unpublished stories ranging from macabre, to magic, to gothic, to grotesque. The anthology will consist of eight episodes, featuring two original stories by Del Toro himself.” , and with a group of authors and directors chosen by the filmmaker”.
Here are the eight episodes that will make up the TV series detailing the cast, performers, directors and writers: F. Murray Abraham (Mythic Quest), Glynn Turman (Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom) and Luke Roberts (Ransom) will appear in an episode of David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight) (based on a short story by Michael Shea), directed by David Prior (The Empty Man); Tim Blake Nelson (Watchmen), Elpidia Carrillo (Euphoria), Demetrius Grosse (Fear The Walking Dead), and Sebastian Roché (The Man in the High Castle) star in an episode of Regina Corrado (Deadwood; The Strain) (based on an original story by Guillermo del Toro) directed by Guillermo Navarro (Godfather of Harlem; Narcos).
Crispin Glover (River’s Edge) and Ben Barnes (Shadow and Bone) star in an episode created by Lee Patterson (Curve) (based on a short story by HP Lovecraft) directed by Keith Thomas (The Incendiary); Peter Weller (Star Trek Into Darkness) stars in an episode directed by Panos Cosmatos (Mandy), co-written with Aaron Stewart-Ahn; Mika Watkins (Origin) wrote an episode (based on a short story by HP Lovecraft) directed by Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight).
