After leaving the direction of the tenth chapter of Fast and Furious the director Justin Lin has found a new project to curate: we are talking about the live-action adaptation of One Punch Man

In addition to Justin Lin, the adaptation has already joined Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner as screenwriters. The two previously worked on Jumanji: The Next Lived and Venom.

In addition to directing the live-action One Punch Man movie, Justin Lin will also co-produce with Avi Arad and Ari Arad of Arad Productions. The three will also collaborate with Pinkner and Rosenberg to write the screenplay. According to the latest reports, it appears that Sony Pictures plans to begin shooting the feature by the end of the year, although no cast names have been announced yet.

One Punch Man was born as a webcomic series created in 2009, created by cartoonist One. Then it was Yūsuke Murata to draw. In 2012, the series was published by Weekly Young Jump. Then an anime was born from the manga, which also became very popular.

Central to the story is the character Saitama, a superhero capable of defeating any enemy with one blow. But this excessive force whips up the protagonist, to the point that it prompts him to look for an adversary worthy of his own worth.
