May be George R.R. Martin not finished Winter winds Don’t expect a release soon, but it looks like the author wasn’t idle. In a blog post, he looked at what had been on his mind over the past few months, and along the way revealed more than he should have about to the House of the Dragon.
And the famous writer confirmed that he works together with the writers House of the Dragon, in the next two seasons of the series during a recent trip to London. This is an interesting statement considering that these seasons have not been confirmed by HBO itself and there is only evidence that a second season will be released next year.
I also spent two days locked in a room with Ryan Condal and his writing team (Sarah Hess, Ty Mikkel, David Hancock and Philippa Goslett) discussing the third and fourth seasons of House of the Dragon. It was a lively and fun discussion and we got some good work done… although two days wasn’t enough.
Participation House of the Dragon This is more than important because This is the first major spin-off Game of Thrones. And although it does not correspond exactly to any book, it is based on the work Fire and blood George R.R. Martin, set in the universe Song of Ice and Fire. The series explores the history of House Targaryen, a noble family known for their relationships with dragons and their dominance of the world. Westeros, but is set chronologically before the main series. The events take place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones.
The second season of House of the Dragon will premiere in 2024.
The series’ first season was a success, and its second season is expected to premiere on Max in the summer of 2024. Good old Martin also wanted to comment on some details of the first episodes of the seasonsince his trip also included a tour of the film sets and meetings with part of the team:
The highlight of the trip, however, was the preview that Ryan gave me of the first two episodes of the show’s second season. House of the Dragon. (Approximations, of course). Of course, I’m not at all objective when I talk about something based on my own creativity… but I have to say that I thought both episodes were absolutely great. (And they’re not finished yet.) Dark ones, mind you. Very dark. Maybe they’ll make you cry. (I didn’t cry, but one of my friends did). Powerful, emotional, heartbreaking. Just what I like.
