In front of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes New cast members have been announced who will take on the roles of Tributes and Mentors. In the movie there will be Nick Benson, Laurel Marsden, Lilly Cooper, Luna SteeplesAnd Hiroki Berrecloth
In The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Nick Benson will do the Jessup Tribute; Laurel Marsden becomes Mayfair Lipp; Lilly Cooper plays District 10 mentor Arachne Crane; Luna Steeples Will Do Dill, District 11 Tribute; and Hiroki Berrecloth will take on the roles of Treech, Tribute or District 10.
The film, with the Italian title The Ballad of the Nightingale and the Serpent, tells the story of President Snow’s childhood and his first participation in the realization of the Panem Games, when he was still an Academy student. The Hunger Games prequel is based on the book of the same name by Suzanne Collins.
The feature film is directed by Francis Lawrence, who previously worked on Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) and Hunger Games: Song of Uprising (2014-2015). Production of the film was entrusted to Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson, and Francis Lawrence himself will also be involved as producer.
