“Inside Out 2” could become the highest-grossing animated film in history
“Inside Out 2,” a sequel to Pete Docter’s 2015 film, is dedicated to the different emotions of little girl Riley, who moved to another city with her parents. The new cartoon tells about Riley’s growing up, where she gets acquainted with new feelings, in addition to the joy, sadness, anger, fear and disgust of the first film. Now there are anxiety, envy, depression, shame and nostalgia.
It is worth noting that at the moment, in terms of box office revenue, the film has already surpassed the full-length animated adaptation of the Mario video game series – the film “Super Mario Brothers at the Movies”, released in 2023 (grossed $ 1.36 billion).
“Inside Out 2” could become the highest-grossing animated film ever if it surpasses “Frozen 2” with $1.45 billion.
